JSW Mangalore Container Terminal Private Limited, part of JSW Group, is operating mechanized terminal at New Mangalore Port Authority on DBFOT basis. Terminal is equipped to handle container and other cargo with Phase-I capacity 239148 TEUs container + 0.64 MTPA other cargo and Phase-II capacity 358722 TEUs container + 0.64 MTPA other cargo (including Phase-I). Phase-I project commissioned and terminal is operational since 29th March,2022.
The terminal is equipped with state of art equipment & infrastructure such as,
Berth length of 350 meters, can accommodate vessels up to 9000 TEUs.
2 Mobile Harbor Cranes with capacity under hook mode- 150 MT, under spreader - 60 MT (Twin Lift), 41 MT (Single Lift), capable to handle vessels up to outreach of 17 Row across.
6 Reach stackers with capacity 5 high stacking and equipped with VMT
1 Empty handler with capacity 5 high stacking and equipped with VMT
Storage Area: Phase I - 6.5 Ha with TGS 1200 TEUs and proposed 7.5 Ha in Phase-II.
Reefer plugs: 150
Gate Infrastructure – Lane 2 In & 2 Out with weigh bridge facility.
