Mangalore Coal Terminal Private Limited (MCTPL), a Terminal acquired by JSW Group during November 2019 is a fully mechanized, state of the art bulk cargo terminal having cargo handling Design capacity of 9 MTPA and approved capacity of 6.73MMTPA inside the New Mangalore Port on DBFOT basis. The predominant cargo handled in the Terminal is coal, however, other bulk cargoes like limestone, gypsum, dolomite and fertilizers also are allowed to be handled.

The Terminal is equipped with advanced equipment’s & infrastructure such as:

1. Berth of 325m length and 25m width having draft of 14m to handle CAPE size vessel.
2. 2 Nos of Ship Unloaders with unloading capacity of 4000 tons per hour (TPH) each, of FLSmidth make;
3. 2 Nos of Stackers cum Reclaimers with stacking and reclaiming capacity of 4000 TPH each of FLSmidth make;
4. 1 No Rapid Wagon Loading System with loading capacity of 4000 TPH and silo capacity of 1600MT of Essae make to handle 8 – 10 Rakes per day.
5. Conveyor System for a length of around 3.4km having conveying capacity of 4000 TPH;
6. Stockyard area of more than 10 Ha having capacity to store up to 5,00,000 tonnes;
