Indian Private Ports & Terminals Association

Any organization meeting the following membership criteria can apply for IPPTA membership. A one time entrance fee and an annual membership fee is to be paid for the membership once the application is approved by the Managing Committee.

"Member" shall means such person who is eligible to be a member of the Association and whose application for membership has been accepted in accordance with the Rules and Regulations and who has not ceased to be a member by virtue of any provisions hereof.

Members shall be classified in three categories as follows:

"Core Member" shall mean:

Such Company or legal entity who is engaged/ received Letter of Intent / entered into an agreement for participation in /operation of private port and/or terminal and/or multi user facility is eligible to be a Core Member of the Association and who has been admitted to membership as provided in the Rules and Regulations.
Any investor who holds directly/indirectly more than 51% of the Equity in 'a' above is eligible to be a Core member of the Association.

Associate Member means any legal entity who has been admitted to membership as provided in the Rules and Regulations.

Honorary Member means any person or representative of a body corporate who is nominated as an Honorary Member for the time being of the Association, under the Rules and Regulations.
