APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FOR THE POST OF CEO IPPTA
The Indian Private Ports and Terminals Association (IPPTA) was set up in the year 2003 to safeguard the interests of the private ports and the PPP Terminals in the country. Its main objectives include partnering with various Government regulatory authorities providing inputs and recommendations relating to port policy, port development, port connectivity, legislative reforms etc. that will make Indian ports globally competitive and regionally sought after.
IPPTA is looking for a dynamic and experienced port and shipping professional who can take up the mantle as its Chief Executive Officer to lead IPPTA as the premier and leading industry association for private ports and port terminals in the country.
The role expected from such an individual would be to develop credibility and confidence with all the relevant authorities at both central and state levels, establish channels of communication with all the members of IPPTA as also other stake holders of the larger maritime and logistics industry.
He should be ideally in the age group of 45-55 and has experience in the regulatory matters of PPPs in port sector, policy advocacy, consensus building and strategic planning. Age relaxation will be considered in respect of exceptional candidates.
Persons from organised Government Services who have at least 15-20 years administrative experience may also apply.
Salary will not be a constraint for the right candidate.
